After being homebound for 18 months due to COVID all the little bothersome things about my home came to be daily irritations. With failed and desperate attempts of my own in the past I decided to hire a Interior Designer. Beat decision ever!!! Madona took my home and made it beautiful. I now LOVE everything and look forward to coming home. I can’t say enough about the professionalism, going above and beyond and being able to count on and trust your home and to someone. In the end saving time and money and ending in a magazine worthy home. As with any renovation comes some delays and difficulties. When these arose Madona took care of everything and connected us with the very skilled and super nice contractors Besnik, Milo and Tony. Forever grateful.

I am a small business owner, renovate and sell houses. I Deal with so many people but dealing with Madona it was completely different experience! Not just as a professional designer but with an amazing personality too! Renovated the whole house top to bottom, and Madona took care of every detail and made that house the most beautiful house in that area (it only stayed 3 days on market 😊) We had so many viewers in that house and everyone send feedback saying how much they loved what we did There... floors, kitchen, bathrooms, tiles, vanities, light fixtures, STAIRS, railing, back deck, front stairs, exterior siding, and all the colours and style, matching with each other just made everyone fall in love with that house. but only one lucky family got to enjoy all that and they were sooo happy with everything. I recently listed a property at 36 Gail Avenue that was designed and furnished by Mad Design Interior, and WOW—what a transformation! The staging was so incredible that both the buyers and the other agent wanted to buy the furniture. Madona was truly born to be a designer. She has an amazing eye for detail and knows exactly how to bring out the best in any space. I’ll definitely be using Mad Design again and highly recommend them!

I absolutely loved working with Madona. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. She is very professional and equally personable. She was very patient and detail oriented. Madona helped me choose my house exterior selections, which required a lot of efforts as it included a variety of different materials. She also designed a fabulous dining cabinet where she incorporated appearance and practicality into her layout. Her initial interior designs and input gave me a valuable foundation to complete my kitchen design and interior home selections. Madona made herself available any day and at any time of the day. She became a friend and I actually missed working with her once my home was finished.

In the fall of 2019 after interviewing several Interior designers, I selected Mad Designs to help me transform a nice 25 year old townhouse into a modern bright welcoming Nova Scotia home. Madonna was instrumental in taking all my ideas and working with a few good ones and transformed the townhouse in to a truly beautiful modern and exciting townhouse. This was no small feat, as the project was getting underway, covid-19 arrived. This posed many issues, which Madonna was able to navigate to a successful conclusion. We have been doing some minor renovations to our split level home over the years but we wanted to modernize it as we are looking at moving into a condo in the next few years. Madona took us through the process step by step to see what could be improved to make it appeal to today’s market. We love this place so much more now we might stay on a few years longer! We wanted to do a lot and we were concerned about our budget but Madona was very mindful of this so not only was our space fabulous it ended up coming in a bit under the projected budget. From the colours, to the new kitchen and flooring we absolutely love it. We also updated our furniture and she selected beautiful pieces that fit into our now, airy living room. It was our first time working with a designer and we would do it again. It took a lot of pressure off of us to have Madona take care of the details and give us a cohesive vision for our home.

I just completed renovating my living and dining rooms with Mad Design Interiors and the project turned out beautiful. From my initial consultation and selection process, Madona was able to translate my vision into reality and transform my house into a new oasis. Her expertise, enthusiasm, knowledge and vendor affiliation was a great asset. I am extremely pleased for the hard work of turning these key rooms in my home into a liveable space I can now enjoy for years to come. And the compliments I continue to receive are endless. Okay, bear with me, this might be a little long but if you’re new to renovating it will be worth it. I've never renovated before and was having a hard time figuring out how to start my new kitchen. I found Madona and Tony online at Houzz and after reading the reviews booked a meeting with them, hired them. Tonys' enthusiasm is so contagious and you can immediately see Madona‘s professionalism as her eyes scan the room you’re renovating as you speak with her - she’s always working on something and has impeccable taste! I knew from the moment she and I walked through Home Depot with her that I'd made the right choice. As well, Tonys team is unbelievable at their work. Madona and Tony have gone above and beyond for my son and I, saving me money in countless little ways which all adds up. The reno's almost complete, but I haven’t really felt like I’ve been working with a designer and contractor. I really feel like I’ve been working more with extended family. I highly, highly, highly recommend Madd designs. I will add before and after photos later!

I'd like to thank Madona - we were re-doing our bathroom and hit a design crisis: we were facing a half-painted blank wall with a hole in it awaiting the medicine cabinet and our contractor needed to know what we wanted the finished wall to look like. We had two types of tiles but no idea how to design that wall! I called Madona, she arrived within an hour, gave me her opinion, and we love the finished product! She made other suggestions during that consultation that worked out beautifully as well. I'm very glad that I called her! I know what I like but I certainly didn't know how to get there. I would call her again in a heartbeat and I wish we had called her at the beginning of this project!

We are really happy with the end product of our kitchen reno and living room redesign with Madona. Madona is professional, detail-oriented and talented. What I was most impressed by was her ability to pick up on my style and needs and tailor the design and finishes to it so that the end product is something we love and is liveable for us. For us that meant something that looked good but was also practical for a chef and lots of small children and dogs in the house. Madona worked with us to choose our finishes, giving advice and suggestions as we went. Shes not afraid to give her opinion but was always respectful when I had something else in mind. She was always open to a ‘does this work?’ text when I was shopping and also went shopping with us a few times. Madona made suggestions as to which companies to use for the renos which was also really appreciated. Once the design is completed by Madona, you work with the companies you have chosen to implement (kitchen, electric, plumbing, furniture etc), which takes some project management but Madona and is there and is a good advocate/inside business person if something goes off track. Overall we are really happy like we said and would use Madona again if we had another reno or re-design to do!

We have absolutely nothing negative to say - Madona is incredible. It has been such a pleasure working with her. She is very talented and has great visions for any space. We trust her implicitly and it is wonderful knowing she always has your back ie ensuring work gets done, sourcing the best product and price etc. we highly recommend Mad Design.

During the whole 3 weeks of renovation, Madona was very professional and easy to work with. She was always there for us, keeping us calm and on track when things went sideways. Madona, the designer, came to my house with Tony, the contractor…they walked around the house, took notes and measurements and then we talked about what I wanted. Its difficult to find the words to convey our gratitude and joy as we stand in our newly updated kitchen and baths after working with Mad Design Interiors. Madona has exquisite taste, was able to ascertain exactly what we were hoping for and connect us with the right products at the right price. I hired Mad Design Interiors to help us redesign our top floor and new kitchen. We had to remove walls and reimagine the space. We could not have done it without the experience and design expertise that we had.
